Reminiscent of the home shirt worn by the Irish during their run to the Round of 16 of the 1994 World Cup, the new Boys In Green primary jersey is in their traditional green. It features a classic polo collar in the white and orange that is part of the Ireland national flag. These colors details the flanks of the kit and are used for its player names and numbering.
A Celtic design is printed in white on the inside neckline of the jersey along with the geographical coordinates of the Republic of Ireland’s capital city of Dublin. Tonal diagonal stripes run along both the front and back of the new Irish kit.
Ireland will debut their Umbro EURO 2016 home kit during international friendlies with fellow European Championship qualifiers Switzerland and Slovakia at the Aviva Stadium at the end of March.
