River Plate 2016 adidas Home Kit

Copa Libertadores champions Club Atlético River Plate have released their 2016 home kit from adidas Argentina.

The domestic and South American powerhouse’s latest home shirt is part of adidas’ #MarcáLaDiferencia (#BeTheDifference) global campaign. Its launch theme is “Mirá qué distintos somos” (Look how different we are).

The River Plate 2016 home jersey uses the club’s world famous white base with a red sash. This year’s edition uses a sash with a gradient effect containing the various shades of red that the team has worn throughout its history.

The kit is detailed with red ribbed v-neck, adidas stripes and waistline. River Plate’s nickname of  “El Más Grande” (The Biggest) is printed on a black background on the jersey’s outside upper back. Black shorts and white and red socks complete the new uniform.

River Plate will debut their 2016 adidas home kit when they host Godoy Cruz in Primera División at El Estadio Monumental later this week. It is expected to be available at Subside Sports.
