Málaga CF 2015/16 Nike “Historical” Third Kit

Málaga Club de Fútbol debuted their 2015/16 Nike third kit during a 1-0 Spanish La Liga loss to Villarreal at El Madrigal stadium on Saturday.

The 2013 UEFA Champions League quarter-finalists worked with Nike to develop a change that is a modern interpretation of the kit worn by Malga predecessor Club Deportivo Malacitano at the end of the 1930s.

The Málaga  2015/16 third shirt has a white based with black pinstripes on its front. The back of the jersey is all with a shield in the green and purple of the coastal province containing the slogan “El sentimiento nunca muere” (The feeling never dies). The player numbers and names on the jersey are in purple. The number contain a watermark of the Málaga crest.

Málaga are currently in eleventh place in La Liga after twenty four matches played in the season. They sit six points away from a return to European competition.
