Sporting Cristal 2016 (60th Anniversary) adidas Home Kit

Peruvian giants Club Sporting Cristal officially launched their 2016 home kit from adidas on Wednesday. It will be available at World Soccer Shop.

Given that the jersey is the team’s 60th Anniversary primary shirt, adidas Peru and Sporting Cristal have used a classic polo collared design for the kit. It is in Sporting’s traditional sky blue with white accenting.

The shirt is matched with white shorts and sky blue socks. The team’s nickname of “La Raza Celeste” (The Sky Blue Race) is embroidered under the crest.

The club’s 60th Anniversary is celebrated by a commemorative logo heatstamped onto the upper back of the jersey. The logo is encircled by 17 stars recognizing each of Sporting Cristal’s national titles.

Sporting Cristal will debut their 2016 adidas home kit in match action when they host Montevideo Wanderers in their annual “Noche de la Raza Celeste” season kickoff celebration at the Estadio Nacional.
