Kawasaki Frontale have officially presented their 2016 home and away kits from PUMA Japan. The new shirts are twentieth anniversary alternate jerseys for the club known for signing Brazilian international Hulk to his first contract abroad.

The Kawasaki Frontale 2016 PUMA away shirt is mainly white vertical stripes in th team’s first choice colors of light blue and black on its left side. The collar and sleeve detailing of the modern looking shirt are also in these colors. The design of the kit is bespoke to Kawasaki Frontale and has not been seen elsewhere before now.

Kawasaki Frontale’s 2016 third kit will be used only in their Emperor’s Cup and J. League Cup campaigns. Its design is based on the Frontale Asics home shirt worn during the 2009 season when the team finished as runners-up in both the J. League and J. League Cup. Like the 2009 jersey, it features halves in sky blue and black separated by a diagonal line.

Fifth placed J1 finishers last season, Kawasaki Frontale kick off their J1 League season in early March. Their 2016 PUMA home kit was released in October.
