Known for producing Brazilian and FC Barcelona fullback Dani Alves, Esporte Clube Bahia kicked off 2016 with the reveal of a retro jersey celebrating their 85th Anniversary.
Founded on January 1st, 1931, the two-time Brazilian champions (1959 and 1988) and technical sponsor Penalty worked together to create a modern interpretation of the club’s very first shirt.
Based on old photographs of the team from 1931, the Bahia 85 Anniversary kit is a totally white affair. The club badge and Penalty logo are embroidered in white thread. It features a polo collar with a classic drawstring in the placket area. The jersey will be limited to 3,000 pieces and be sold at EC Bahia’s club shops in Salvador.
