FC Augsburg 2015/16 Nike “Special” Kit

FC Augsburg debuted their 2015/16 Nike “Special” kit (“Sondertrikot” in German) during their 2-1 Bundesliga win over Schalke 04 on Sunday.

The fourth 15/16 uniform of the Bavarian team is a bright yellow affair that uses Nike’s popular Challenge jersey design. The look provides a bonafide alternate the Augburg’s current home, away and third kits.

FCA did not specify why a fourth shirt was launched and quickly put on sale at their fanshop. Speculation among the team’s fans is that it may be trying to drum up some kit sales for the 2015 Christmas season.
