adidas and the Dansk Boldspil-Union (DBU) have launched the Denmark 2016/17 home football kit. It will be worn by the former European champions when they face Sweden in a home and away playoff series for a spot at UEFA EURO 2016.
For the first time since the 1980s the Danish Dynamite home shirt is a two-colored affair that uses two different shades of the team’s classic red color as its base. On the left side of the chest features the iconic DBU logo while the adidas logo is found on the right.
Another significant change in the Denmark 2016 home shirt is that adidas has chosen to move their classic three stripes from the shoulders and onto the sides of the jersey so that they join with the stripes on the shorts.
While the Denmark home uniform of recent year has used the classic red shirt, white shorts and red socks combination, the Scandinavian country’s new strip is completely red with white accenting.
The crewneck collar of the Denmark 2016/17 adidas home jersey has the text “En del af noget større” (A part of something bigger) and a stylized Danish flag on its rear inside and outside areas.
