adidas Originals Launches River Plate Retro Collection

adidas Originals have dropped a retro collection for defending Copa Libertadores champions and thirty-six time Argentine Primera División winners Club Atlético River Plate.

The new range includes throwback-styled gear that includes a t-shirt, track jacker, trainers and the highlight of the line, a retro jersey inspired by home shirt worn by Los Millonarios (The Millionaires) when they won the 1994 Apertura.

All of the pieces in the collection use the River Plate’s primary colors of white and red. The adidas Originals jersey and track jacket feature the club’s world famous red sash. The classic adidas Originals Trefoil is used throughout the range.

Current players Rodrigo Mora, Lucas Alario, Gabriel Mercado, Leonardo Pisculichi, Leonel Vangioni and Nicolás Bertolo were on hand to model the 2015 River Plate adidas Originals line at its recent unveiling.
