2015/16 Kits

Manchester United x adidas Originals 1985 FA Cup Final Collection

adidas Originals have released an apparel range inspired by thirtieth anniversary of Manchester United’s triumph in the 1985 FA Cup Final at the old Wembley Stadium.

The range of retro football shirts, track jackets, hoodies and t-shirts  based on those worn by the twenty time English champions is now on sale along with the 2015/16 MUFC homeaway and third shirts.

The Manchester United adidas Originals 1985 FA Cup Final collection is highlighted by two unsponsored classic kits. The first is a modern interpretation of the jersey worn by The Red Devils in their 1-0 extra time win over Everton FC some three decades ago. It uses the same v-neck design as the 1985 match shirt with a heavy dose of black on its collar and sleeve cuffs.

A polo collared slim fitting throwback shirt is the second kit in the range. It is inspired by a host of United kits of the past with a leaning towards those worn by the club in the early 1980s.

All of the pieces in the new pack have modern fits which means that they do not used the oversized, loose-fitting looks of the eighties. They also carry the classic Trefoil adidas Originals logo used by the German sportswear giant until the early nineties.
