River Plate 2015 Copa Libertadores Champions adidas Home Jersey

Argentine giants Club Atlético River Plate won their third Copa Libertadores title on Wednesday night with a 3-0 aggregate victory over Mexico’s Tigres. To celebrate the achievement adidas Argentina has released a limited edition “River Plate Campeón Copa Libertadores 2015” kit.

The latest River Plate jersey is identical in design to their 1990s-inspired 2016/16 home shirt. The South American club champions crown is recognized by a silhouette on the mid chest of the kit featuring the Copa Libertadores trophy. The text “Campeón de América 2015” (Champions of America 2015) appears beneath the cup.

The back of the jersey has a black print of Central and South America. “El más grande de América” (America’s biggest) is printed beneath the Latin American map.
