Defending Hungarian OTP Bank Liga champions Videoton Football Club have switched kit providers from Nike to adidas. The deal will see the club wear kits from the German sportsweat giant until 2019.

The club recently launched their 2015/16 home, away and third kits. The hooped red and blue home shirt has seen action in Videoton’s early Liga campaign and in their UEFA Champions League Third Qualifying Round meeting with FC BATE Borisov.

All three kits uses adidas’ well-circulated Condivo 14 jersey template. The club’s Commercial and Marketing Director Ádám Várkonyi told Football Fashion, “The playing attire has unique design, designed by Videoton FC, in line with the club’s colours, and with 3D logo.”

The away uniform is predominantly white with Videoton FC’s red and blue appearing on the collar and sleeves. The third strip is dark blue with red trim. The club’s nickname of “VIDI” is printed on the upper outside back of all three shirts.

Founded in 1941 as Vadásztölténygyári SK, Videoton FC made it to the final of the 1985 UEFA Cup (since renamed to the Europa League).
