Borussia Mönchengladbach finished their most successful German Bundesliga season in recent memory with a 1-3 loss to FC Augsburg last weekend. Die Fohlen (The Foals) debuted their 2015/16 Kappa home kit.
The new jersey is in the traditional club colors of Gladbach and inspired by the shirts worn by the team during the 1970s when coach Hennes Weisweiler led the team to five Bundesliga and two UEFA Cup (now the Europa League) titles.
The white-based Borussia Mönchengladbach 15/16 home kit is highlighted by a green vertical band bordered in black on its front. It features a new Kappa Y-neck collar in black with matching flashing on the shoulder area. Kappa logos appear on the shirt’s sleeves while two golden star are printed above the team crest in recognition of their Bundesliga championships.
