Paraguay 2015 Copa America adidas Home and Away Kits Launched

The Asociación Paraguaya de Fútbol officially launched the Paraguay 2015 Copa America home and away kits at a press conference at the Museo de la Confederación Sudamericana de Fútbol (Museum of the South American Football Confederation) on Tuesday. Provided by APF technical partner adidas, both are now available at World Soccer Shop.

The Paraguay 2015/16 home kit has been in circulation for several weeks now after being put on sale on adidas’ online store and at European retailers  Kitbag, UK Soccer Shop and Subside Sports. It is on the traditional red and white stripes of La Albirroja (White and Red) with a blue waistline. The shirt will be matched with blue shorts.

Paraguay’s 15/16 away jersey departs from the white alternate kits that the team has worn in recent times in favor of a mainly gray colorway. A darker shade of gray is use on the shirt’s back, sleeves and sides while a series of horizontal stripes runs along its front. The jersey has white sleeve cuffs, a white v-neck collar and a red waistline.

The Paraguay 2015 Copa American home and away shirts both feature the new APF crest. A graphic featuring a football pitch and the text “EL DEFENSORES DEL CHACO” (The Defenders of the Chaco) is printed on their upper back areas.

Quarter-finalists at the 2010 World Cup and finalists at the 2011 Copa America, Paraguay are currently ranked 80th in the world by FIFA.
