The New England Revolution released their 2015 adidas away jersey earlier this week. The red shirt sees the five-time MLS Cup finalists wear an alternate kit that is not white for the first time in their twenty year history. It will be available at World Soccer Shop, Kitbag and UK Soccer Shop.
The Revs new road uniform uses the red, white and green of the flag of New England during the American Revolutionary war. The historical flag in question appears on the outside upper back of the jersey with miniature Revolution crests added to its body. A printed tag explaining the significance of the flag to the club appears on the lower left of the kit’s front.
The chest area of the New England Revolution 2015 adidas away jersey features a block of white and a neck insert in green. A Revs-customized version of the new Major League Soccer crest is embroidered onto both sleeves.
United States internationals Jermaine Jones, Lee Nguyen and the rest of the Revolution are expected to debut their new away strip when they meet Seattle Sounders FC in Week 1 of the 2015 MLS season on Sunday evening.
