LA Galaxy 2015 adidas Away Jersey

Back to back MLS Cup champions Los Angeles Galaxy unveiled their 2015 adidas away jersey on Monday. The new shirt will be available at World Soccer Shop along with the team’s 2014/15 home kit.

Called the “Blue on Blue secondary kit” by the club because of its main color, the LA Galaxy 2015 away shirt was modeled by players Robbie Rogers, Alan Gordon, Dan Gargan, A.J. DeLaGarza, Baggio Husidic, Brian Rowe and Tommy Meyer in coastal locations around Los Angeles for is launch. The new jersey appears in each Southern California-lifestyle theme shot.

The jersey uses a new modern-feel v-neck adidas template accented by a yellow waistline and yellow inserts on the sleeve cuffs. A series of horizontal lines run on the chest area to blend the darker and lighter blues used on the kit. A jocktag reading “THIS IS LA” is boldly displayed on the lower front left white “LA GALAXY” appears on the neckline.

MLS Cup winners on five occassions (2002, 2005, 2011, 2012, 2014), team captain Robbie Keane and the Galaxy kick off their 2015 campaign this Friday, March 6 at 7 p.m. PT when they meet with the Chicago Fire at StubHub Center. Liverpool icon Steven Gerrard will join the team at the end of the English Premier League season.
