Northern Ireland adidas 2015/16 Away Kit

The Irish Football Association and technical partner adidas today unveiled the Northern Ireland 2015/16 away kit at the JD Sports store in Victoria Square in Belfast. The mainly blue shirt is now available at the IFA’s retail partner JD Sports. It will also be on sale at Subside Sports.

The Northern Ireland 2015/16 adidas away kit uses two tones of blue on its front.  The color choice is based on the use of blue on Northern Irish alternate kits throughout the IFA’s history.

The half-half design is modernized through the use of white mesh detail on the collar, sleeves and hem areas in what is one of adidas’ new shirt templates for 2015.

Ranked 51st in the world by FIFA, Northern Ireland have had a strong start to their EURO 2016 campaign and currently sit in second place in their qualifying group after four matches played. The team last qualified for a major tournament when they made it to the 1986 World Cup in Mexico.
