The Scotland rugby sevens team returns to action at New Zealand stage of the ongoing HSBC Sevens World Series on February 6th. Here is a look at the 2015 Macron home and away kits being worn by the Scottish men’s and women’s national teams as they look to qualify for the Rio Olympics via this year’s world tour. Both are now available at World Rugby Shop and Lovell Rugby.

According to the Scottish Rugby website:  The home jersey is predominantly navy blue with flashes of pink, the first time this colour has appeared on a Scotland 7s playing jersey, on the inside of the neck and on the cusps of the sleeves.

The alternate shirt is primarily pink with navy on the shoulders, collar and sides.

The logo of BT, the 7s team’s main sponsor, adorns the front of the shirts for the first time.

Scotland 7s player, Colin Gregor, who modelled the new kit for the marketing campaign, said: “These strips are striking. It’s great to have kit that makes a statement on the IRB 7s circuit.”

Ross Cook, Macron’s UK & Ireland Sports Marketing Manager, said: “Macron was challenged by Scottish Rugby to come up with a design that matches the sport’s, youthful, dynamic and fast-paced nature that appeals to both players and fans alike.”
