Vitesse Arnhem 2014/15 Macron Home and Away Kits

Dutch Eredivisie regulars Vitesse Arnhem switched kit providers from Nike to Macron during the offseason. Here is a look at the home and away kits that the club nicknamed FC Hollywood aan de Rijn (FC Hollywood on the Rhine) is wearing for the 2014/15 season.

The Vitesse Arnhem 14/15 home kit is in the club’s customary golden yellow with black vertical stripes. It has a contemporary look with a ribbed collar whose halves form a v-shape where they meet. Black is used for the shirt’s collar and sleeve cuffs.

The new Vitesse Macron away uniform honors the the service and sacrifice of the British 1st Airborne Division during the World War II’s Battle of Arnhem. In the claret and blue of the 1st Airborne, the 14/15 Vitesse away shirt features a subtle image of the John Frost Bridge on its front. The structure is named after Battle of Arnhem 1st Ariborne Division commander John Dutton Frost.

Sixth place Eredivisie finishers last season, Vitesse Arnhem have a partnership with Chelsea FC.  Blues players Wallace,  Bertrand Traoré and England youth international Josh McEachran are all on loan at the club.
