After issuing temporary home kits for the the UEFA Under-19 championship, Joma has released the Bulgaria 2014/15 home and away kits.
The new uniforms (available soon at UK Soccer Shop) are the first of the Bulgaria Football Union’s three year kit sponsorship deal with the Spanish sportswear firm. Bulgaria is currently the only European national team wearing Joma gear.
The Bulgaria 2014/16 home kit is in the “The Lions” familiar white with green accents. It is matched with green shorts and red socks. The shirt design used is the same as that of the Fiorentina 2013/14 home, away and third kits. It was worn for the first time in match action during Friday’s UEFA EURO 2016 qualifying loss to Croatia.
Bulgaria’s new away shirt is a simple crew neck affair in the team’s usual alternate red. It will be worn with either white short and socks or green shorts and red socks. The latter combination was used when the kit made its match debut during September’s EURO 2016 qualifier against Azerbaijan.
Ranked forty sixth in the world by FIFA, Bulgaria is looking for its first appearance in a major competition since EURO 2004.
