COPA Football Launches Fall / Winter 2014 Collection

Published on

COPA has launched its Fall Winter 2014 collection, and again the football brand teamed up with several well-known football photographers and graphic designers to create its new ‘Designed by…’ collection.

From The Netherlands to Argentina and from Italy to Brazil, the collaboration with designers from around the world ensures a surprising and eye-catching new COPA collection, consisting of football inspired printed T-shirts, sweaters and beanies. This season’s main contributors are Stuart Roy Clarke, Reinaldo Coddou H. and Marco Magielse.

Stuart Roy Clarke is known for his outstanding ability of capturing football cult in Britain, and he blends a selection of his best work with two COPA items this season. Three garments are created with

Reinaldo Coddou H. from Santiago, Chile. For years he photographed the football culture of his adopted city Buenos Aires at all levels of football. Just around the corner of the COPA Design Lab in The Netherlands, Marco Magielse used to follow his hometown NAC Breda across the country as the club’s house photographer and he created an extensive archive of stunning football images through the years.

Needless to say, but the attention of COPA was triggered.

The superior quality ‘Designed by…’ T-shirts and sweaters get a special treatment, which is COPA’s best kept secret, to give them a super soft touch. For each item more background information about the designer can be found on copafootball.com.

This season’s COPA faces are Joey Suk and Erik Falkenburg (NAC Breda), Jan Wuytens and Nemanja Gudelj (AZ Alkmaar), Edouard Duplan (FC Utrecht), Danny Holla (Brighton & Hove Albion) and Alexander Büttner (Dynamo Moscow).

In total, the Fall Winter 2014 collection of COPA consists of 125 fashionable T-shirts, 25 sweaters and several beanies that all have football as inspiration. The COPA Fall Winter 2014 collection is now available at Subside Sports.
