The Puerto Rico senior men’s national soccer team debuted their 2014/15 home uniform during a 2-2 CFU Caribbean Cup first round match with Curacao on Wednesday night.
The new jersey has also been worn by the Puerto Rican men’s Under-17 and women’s senior team since its launch by the Federación Puertorriqueña de Fútbol in July.
The new shirt is provided by Caribbean Football Union partner Forward Sports. The Pakistani firm is known for manufacturing the 2014 FIFA World Cup ball for adidas.
The Puerto Rico 2014/15 Forward home kit has a design that includes the red and white stripes and blue of the island’s flag. Its back area is mainly red with the text “Puerto Rico” printed on its outside upper back. The strip is compleded by either white or blue shorts and red socks.
