Reading FC 2014/15 PUMA Home and Away Kits

Published on

Reading Football Club recently released their 2014/15 PUMA home, away and goalkeeper kits for their newly started Championship and domestic cup seasons. The new range will be available at KitbagUK Soccer ShopWorld Soccer Shop and Subside Sports.

According to the club’s website: The traditional blue and white hooped home strip has borrowed features from some of the classic Reading kits throughout the club’s history – and was especially inspired by Jack Mansell, who made the decision to bring the Hoops back to Elm Park in 1969 after they were replaced by an unusual sky blue shirt for four years in the sixties.

Reading have been wearing their 14/15 home and away kits since the latter part of their pre-season campaign. The home shirt made its competitive debut during Tuesday’s 3-1 Capital One Cup win over Newport County. The black away jersey was worn by The Royals last weekend when they opened their Championship run with a 2-2 draw at Wigan Athletic.

Reading is now in their tenth consecutive season of wearing PUMA kits. The club’s current deal with the German sportswear firm ends in 2015.
