Leicester City Football club today unveiled their PUMA away and third kits for their return to the Barclays Premier League during the 2014/15 season. Both will be available at World Soccer Shop, Kitbag, Subside Sports and UK Soccer Shop along with The Foxes’ new home shirt.
According to the Leicester City website: The gold and navy strip will be worn by the First Team, Development Squad and Academy teams during the course of the season, while the First Team will also have the option of the limited edition red kit – City’s first red kit since 1992.
Gold was introduced to the Foxes’ home shirts during the unforgettable 2013/14 season, which saw Nigel Pearson’s side storm to promotion and the Sky Bet Championship title. For the Club’s return to the Barclays Premier League, the colour features not only on the home shirts, but is the primary feature in one of the away strips. The shirt also features a deep navy upper that runs across the shoulders and sleeves, with gold trim on a crew neck collar. It is accompanied by navy shorts with gold trim and navy socks.
The 2014/15 season also sees the re-introduction of a red alternate kit, the likes of which has been worn by City legends such as Alan Birchenall, Keith Weller, Frank Worthington, Gary Lineker, Alan Smith and Steve Walsh. Featuring black shoulder and side panels on the shirt, the strip is completed by red shorts and red socks, both with black trim
