RC Lens 2014/15 Umbro Home and Away Kits

Former Ligue 1 champions Racing Club de Lens recently switched providers to Umbro after wearing adidas gear over the past few years. The well-supported team from the north of France have now launched their 2014/15 home and away kits.

The 14/15 RC Lens Umbro home shirt uses vertical stripes in the club’s colors of red and yellow. The stripes in question were first worn by Lens in 1924 when Umbro was founded. Les Sang et Or new away jersey has an all black base with single stripes in red and yellow running vertically along its left side.

Both of RC Lens’ new kits feature the text “Fiers d’être lensois” (“Proud to be from Lens) printed below their outside back collars.

A French Ligue 2 side since 2011, RC Lens earned promotion back to Ligue 1 at the end of last season. The promotion has since been put on hold because the team has failed to meet Ligue 1 financial rules.
