Defending Primera División Uruguaya champions Club Atlético Peñarol have launched their 2014 home, away and third kits from technical partner PUMA. All three shirts will be worn during the club’s ongoing domestic and Copa Libertadores seasons.
The Uruguayan powerhouse (with forty-nine league championships) and five-time Copa Libertadores winners new range includes a home jersey in the club’s traditional yellow and black vertical stripes. It uses the PUMA King shirt template that has been used for many of the German firm’s 2013/14 kits including the current Newcastle United and Olympicos home strips.
The Peñarol 2014 away jersey is mainly black with a contemporary v-neck design shared with the new Botafogo home, away and third kits. Finally. Peñarol’s latest third kit is a crewneck mostly yellow affair with black sleeves and side panels.
