Finland 2014/15 Nike Home Kit

Nike has launched the 2014/15 home kit for new signing Finland. The Huuhkajat (The Eagle-Owls) have switched to the American sportswear after several years with adidas.

According to a Nike press release: Nike and the Football Association of Finland today announce a new partnership that sees the world’s leading sports brand become the Federation’s official apparel and equipment sponsor.

The partnership, which begins in April 2014 and will run until at least 2020, will see Nike produce and distribute all on-pitch and training product, as well as a range of off-pitch product, for the players at every level, the coaching teams and fans.

Bert Hoyt, Nike GM, Western Europe, says: “We are delighted to partner with the Football Association of Finland. We look forward to supporting the game at all levels in the country.”

FAF President Pertti Alaja says “We are very excited to work together with Nike, the world’s leading sports brand. As a federation we are building towards a successful future on and off the pitch, and our national teams will wear the new Nike Finland kits with pride.”

The new kit comes in traditional white and blue inspired by the Finnish flag. The jersey features a V-neck collar, giving it a classic yet modern look. Nike Dri-FIT technology and engineered mesh material construction helps players stay dry and cool on the pitch, increasing breathability and air flow where athletes need it most, to help the team perform at the highest level.
