Nigeria 2014 World Cup adidas Home Jersey

adidas have released the Nigeria 2014 FIFA World Cup home jersey at their online store. It will also be available at World Soccer Shop, Subside Sports and Kitbag.

According to adidas: This season’s home kit departs from the traditional racing green to an exciting and striking lighter variant, reflecting a fresh, young and vibrant Super Eagles team that carries the hopes of a proud Nigerian nation. 

The brighter, colourful mood of the home jersey also adds a festive and optimistic Brazilian flavour. The most notable design detail on the jersey is the addition of a bridge-like band set across the shoulders, which enhances the jersey’s iconic look with additional detail.

adidas stripes in white are stitched onto the shirt’s sleeves while the text “NIGERIA” is printed above a narrow band running across its rear upper back.

Defending Africa Cup of Nations champions, Nigeria is pooled with Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Iran in Group F of the 2014 World Cup.
