One week after the death of club and Portugal legend Eusebio, SL Benfica players all wore a version of their 2013/14 adidas home kit bearing the name of the striker in their 2-0 Primeira Liga win over rivals FC Porto. Benfica’s players also wore black armbands containing an image of Eusebio in what was the club’s first outing since his death.

Eusebio played for SL Benfica from 1960 to 1975 scoring a remarkable 375 goals in 301 matches for the club. He died of heart failure on January 5 at age 71.
