Club Tijuana 2014 Nike Home and Away Jerseys

Surprise Apertura 2012 Mexican champions Club Tijuana (also called Xolos de Tijuana) defeated league powerhouse Club América 1-0 on Friday night wearing their 2014 Nike home kit.

The Xolos 2014 home jersey was launched earlier this week along with the club’s new away shirt. They will be worn by the club for the ongoing Clausura 2014 and the autumn Apertura 2014 Liga MX seasons and will be on sale at World Soccer Shop and Tienda Fútbol Mundial.

Both jerseys use a Nike v-neck design with a prominent chest band featuring a graphic design that includes the number 21 in recognition of the fact that the team was promoted to the Primera División de México for the first time in its history via a 2-1 win at home over Irapuato on May 21, 2011.

With no less than seven USA youth and senior internationals (including World Cup hopefuls Joe Corona, Hérculez Gomez and Édgar Castillo) on their books, Club Tijuana last season in tenth place in the Liga MX.
