Video: USA Striker Sydney Leroux Discusses Her Tattoos

United States women’s national team striker Sydney Leroux is the subject of a new AOL Originals video featuring her tattoos.

Among the latest generation of world-class women’s players, Leroux discusses the significance of some of her tats as part of AOL’s “My Ink” series. She goes on to talk about her work ethic view on life.

Leroux came into prominence in when she won the Golden Ball at the 2008 FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup. She’s since gone on to win an Olympic Gold medal in 2012, sign a Nike endorsement deal and appear in ESPN The Magazine Body Issue (which is where the pictures that you’re looking at came from).
