French international goalkeeper Mickaël Landreau broke the Ligue 1 appearance record last week when he played in his 603rd league match (a 1-1 draw between current club SC Bastia and AC Ajaccio) on December 4.
Landreau’s sponsor Kipsta designed a commemorative SC Bastia goalkeeper kit celebrating the accomplishment. A version of the shirt on which the Kipsta brand was hidden was worn by Landreau for his record appearance. This was of Bastia’s contractual obligations to technical sponsor Kappa.
The Mickaël Landreau Ligue 1 appearance record commemorative jersey features a print of the goalie with arms raised, the number 603 and a block of text on its front. Bands in the colors of all of the clubs that Landreau has played for (Nantes, PSG, Lille and Bastia) appear on the lower right sleeve of the shirt.
