Sweden 2014/15 adidas Home Kit

The Swedish Football Association (Svenska Fotbollförbundet or SvFF) has unveiled the Sweden 2014/15 adidas home kit. It is now available at World Soccer Shop  and Subside Sports.

The new uniform will be worn by Blågult (The Blue-Yellow) for the first time during Friday’s European zone 2014 FIFA World Cup playoff meeting with Portugal at the Estadio da Luz in Lisbon. It will also be worn at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil should the Swedes triumph in the home and away series with Portugal.

According to the SvFF, the Sweden 2014-15 home jersey celebrates the new Swedish national team jersey worn during the team’s third place finish at the 1994 World Cupvia a modern reinterpretation. In Sweden’s classic yellow and blue, the kit features the Swedish flag on the sleeves, the SvFF initials on its rear the neck area and the a red and blue back stripe that is meant to symbolize Brazil’s outlook on life.
