Twenty-three time Primera División Peruana champions Club Alianza Lima have launched the 2013 version of their “Blanquimorada” (White and Purple) jersey.
Alianza Lima have worn kits of these colors during the month of October for over fifty years now in recognition of El Señor de los Milagros or Lord of Miracles. The shirts usually feature cross representations on their fronts. Alianza reverts to its famed striped kit in November.
The currently unsponsored Alianza Lima 2013 Blanquimorada made its match debut during Sunday 0-3 league loss to César Vallejo. It was also worn by the club’s women’s team in their 4-o triumph over Talentus Callao.
