FC Porto Launches Artistic Campaign for 2013/14 Shirts

The promotional campaign for the FC Porto 13/14 home and away football shirts kicks off today. The club joined the “Trafaria Praia” floating Portuguese pavilion in the 55th Venice Biennale in an unprecedented, unique and exclusive event  called “Pure Art”.

The photo shoot for the campaign was done by Portuguese artist Joana Vasconcelos. “Trafaria Beach” (a typical Portuguese boat) was thought to be the ideal setting to show the new shirts are shown as a true work of art.

Via the campaign, FC Porto reinforces its image as one of the most distinguished ambassadors of Portugal in the world along the artist Joana Vasconcelos.

Blue is, as might be expected, the dominant tone of the photo shoot, in the tiles and in the textile installation inside the boat. Also in the sky and sea, the natural amphitheater of this production.

The campaign will be seen in several media from FC Porto Stores to the club’s social networking presences along with other outlets.
