Santos FC 2013 Nike Home Jersey

In the news this week for selling sought after striker Neymar to FC Barcelona, Brazil’s Santos FC has launched its Nike 2013 home kit.  It will be available at the Subside Sports Brazilian club store.

In Santos’ traditional white, the 2013 jersey also features the club’s second color of black for its Nike logo and on of its sleeve stripes. However, for the first time in recent memory yellow is prominently featured in a Santos home shirt via a second sleeve stripe.

Two yellow stars recognizing the club’s 1962 and 1963 Intercontinental Cup titles appear above the Santos crest.

A graphic of the Praça da Independência is printed on the inside upper back of the new kit. The square is a popular gathering spot for Santos fans.

The Santos FC 2013 home kit was used during Saturday’s 1-1 Campeonato Brasileirão Série A draw with Grêmio at the Vila Belmiro. The result leaves Santos winless after three matches played in the 2013 Brazilian season.
