Real Madrid came from a goal down to defeat Manchester United 2-1 (3-2 on aggregate) in the second leg of their 2012/13 UEFA Champions League Round of 16 series at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.
Spain international Sergio Ramos’s own goal in the 48th gave United the lead before Luka Modric and Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice within three minutes to give Real the win on the night and in the home and away series.
United were reduced to ten men in the 56th when winger Nani given a straight a red card for a high boot on Madrid defender Alvaro Arbeloa.
