Cape Verde 2013 Africa Cup of Nations Tepa Home and Away Kits

A win in their final group stage match of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations could see first-time qualifiers Cape Verde advance to the quarter-finals of the African football championship.

During the Tubarões Azuis’ (Blue Sharks’) first two matches of the competition many soccer fans have seen the Cape Verde home and away kits for the first time.

The blue home (now available at Subside Sports) and white away uniforms are made by little-known Portuguese sportswear firm Tepa. Both feature the same design with gradient patterns on the front and back and golden stars of the Cape Verde flag on their sleeves.

Featuring a squad composed of mainly European-based players, Cape Verde is ranked 70th in the world by FIFA. The team has never qualified for a major international tournament until it famously defeated Cameroon in a CAN 2013 playoff series in October 2013.
