Danish SuperLiga (or Superligaen) side Randers FC announced a technical sponsorship deal with Michigan, USA-based firm Warrior in October. Earlier this month, the 2006 Danish Cup champions unveiled their 2013 Warrior home uniform in 2-1 league win over Esbjerg.
According to the club’s website (translated from Danish): Denmark Warrior manager Mik Geertsen said that Randers FC fits very well into the concept that Warrior would like to represent. “We were looking for a club from a typical Danish workers town and a club whose players are characterized as “warriors” which matches our company name. So we decided quickly that it would be Randers FC.”
Randers FC is currently in fifth place in the 2012/13 SuperLiga with the season now halfway complete and the league on winter break until March 3rd, 2013.
