CF Monterrey Nike 2012 FIFA Club World Cup Away Jersey

Winners of the last two editions of the CONCACAF Champions League, Club de Futbol Monterrey is currently taking part in the FIFA World Club Cup Japan 2012.

Los Rayados (The Striped Ones) will meet UEFA Champions League winners Chelsea FC in the semi-finals of the competition on Thursday after defeating Korea’s Ulsan Hyundai in the quarters on Sunday.

During its meeting with AFC champions Ulsan, CF Monterrey debuted its orange Nike away jersey for the 2012 World Club Cup. As with the team’s home shirt for the tournament, secondary sponsor logos are removed in accordance with FIFA regulations.

Two horizontal stars appear beneath the club badge instead of vertical ones. The stars in question represent CF Monterrey’s two CONCACAF Champions League titles.
