Universidad de Chile 2013 adidas Away Kit

Chilean powerhouse Universidad de Chile (usually called “La U” or “Universidad de Chile”) has launched its 2013 away kit from technical sponsor adidas. The new bright yellow uniform was worn in match action for the first time during Wednesday’s playoff meeting with Unión Española.

According to the club, the Universidad de Chile 2013 adidas kit uses the theme “Romántico Viajero” (Romantic Traveler) and commemorates the team’s Copa Sudamericana 2011 title.

During La U’s first continental triumph, several good results away from its Santiago base contributed to its championship.

Table-toppers at the end of the Apertura 2012 season, La U is considered to be one of the “Big Three” clubs of Chilean soccer along with Colo-Colo and Universidad Católica. It has won sixteen Primera División titles.
