AS Roma 2012/13 “Hall of Fame” Kappa Home Kit

Three-time Italian Serie A champions AS Roma have created a Hall of Fame to honor its greatest players.

According to AS Roma: As part of the celebrations for the club’s 85th anniversary, AS Roma has decided to launch its own Hall of Fame. The aim of this new initiative is to enshrine the memory of an elite group of players who, since 1927, have had an impact on the history, success and heritage of AS Roma and its fans.

The first eleven former players inducted to the Hall of Fame were Tancredi, Cafu, Losi, Aldair, Rocca, Bernardini, Di Bartolomei, Falcao, Conti, Pruzzo and Amadei. They were celebrated at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday ahead of the club’s 2-0 win over Atalanta.

AS Roma has also launched a special edition of its 2012/13 Kappa home kit (now available at World Soccer Shop) to commemorate the opening of its Hall of Fame. It features the official Roma Hall of Fall logo beneath Kappa’s on the right breast of the jersey.

The special edition Giallorossi  shirt was worn during Sunday’s match with Atalanta.
