AS Roma Kappa 2012/13 Home Kit

Three-time Italian Serie A champions AS Roma launched their 2012/13 Kappa home kit (now available at World Soccer Shop) via a sixty three minute long webcast on their YouTube channel on Thursday.

According to a press release from Kappa: For AS Roma’s 2012-/3 soccer season Kappa has revamped the Kombat, the pioneering shirt that in 2000 changed the very concept of the soccer shirt forever. The new design details are matched to the highest quality standards based on the “Stop Stopping” principle, that prevents athletes from being interrupted during play even if restrained and makes foul play easier to spot for the referee.

The Kombat AS Roma 2012/13 Kappa home jersey uses fabric made of polyamide and lycra known as Hydro-way that guarantees exceptional transpiration,  body heat dissipation and effective cooling with an elastic, light and soft feel.

The design of the first Kombat AS Roma 12/13 shirt combines heritage elements of the team’s classic shirts with Kappa’s innovative lines resulting in a unique style. Its classic polo collar sits atop a V-neck matched with Raglan sleeves and side inserts. The Omini and Kappa logos are lasercut fabric heat transfers and the club badge is an embroidered patch. The shirt uses AS Roma’s traditional home red accented by yellow collars and sleeve edges.
