Millonarios FC adidas 2012 “Orgullo Embajador” Jersey

Thirteen-time Fútbol Profesional Colombiano champion Millonarios Fútbol Club has launched a special edition jersey for its 2012 Copa Sudaamericana campaign and its friendly against Real Madrid on September 26th.

Called the “Orgullo Embajador” (Pride Ambassador) jersey and based on the club’s 2011 home shirt, the new Millonarios kit will be limited to 12,269 units (based on the date of the meeting with Real Madrid). It includes the following features linked to the club’s history.

– The text “Millonarios el mejor equipo del mundo” (Millonarios the best team in the world) on its inner neckline. This is in recognition of the period of the club’s history called El Dorado (1949-1954) when Alfredo Di Stefano and Nestor Raúl Rossi led the team four league and one Copa Colombia title.

– The text “Orgullo Embajador” just under the Millonarios badge.
– The text “El Dorado” on the outside back of the shirt’s collar.
– A unique serial number from 1 to 12,269 on the jersey’s right sleve.
