CD Millonarios adidas 2011 Home Jersey / Camiseta

Club Deportivo Los Millonarios is a Colombian football club based in Bogotá. Along with rival América de Cali, the club currently holds the record for the most Fútbol Profesional Colombiano championships with 13 in total (the last in 1988). CD Millonarios has also achieved some continental success with a Copa Merconorte title in 2001 and semi-final appearances in the Copa Libertadores in 1960, 1973 and 1974.

Over the years, Millonarios has featured a host of South American soccer stars including Alfredo di Stéfano, Daniel “Tito” Onega, Carlos Valderrama, Carlos Ángel López, Sergio Goycochea, René Higuita and Pedro Alberto Vivalda.

On Wednesday, CD Millonarios officially launched its adidas 2011 home kit. According to the club’s website, the new jersey pays homage to period of the club’s history called El Dorado (1949-1954) when Alfredo Di Stefano and Nestor Raúl Rossi led the team four league and one Copa Colombia title.
