Just over a week after the completion of the London 2012 Olympics Women’s soccer tournament, the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup 2012 kicks off in Japan. The sixteen national teams participating in the competition are divided into the following four groups:
Group A: Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Switzerland
Group B: Brazil, Italy, Korea Republic, Nigeria
Group C: Argentina, Canada, Korea DPR, Norway
Group D: China PR, Germany, Ghana, USA

All 32 matches of the 2012 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup will be show live on ESPNU and ESPN3.com in the United States. The August 27th meeting between Germany and USA will be shown live on ESPN2.
