Currently in a disappointing seventeenth position in the 2012 Japanese J. League, Gamba Osaka has launched special edition Umbro jerseys to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the club’s Expo ’70 Stadium.
There will a gold version of the shirt for Gamba Osaka men’s team and a blue kit for the Gamba women’s side. The men’s jersey will be worn in match action for one time only at Expo ’70 Stadium on September 15th when Gamba meets Albirex Niigata in J. League Division 1 action.
