France adidas 2012/13 Rugby Home Jersey

Published on

2011 Rugby World Cup finalists France have unveiled their adidas 2012/13 home kit (now available at World Rugby Shop). Les Bleus have changed technical sponsors to adidas after donning Nike kits over the past few years.

According to adidas: Exactly one year ago, the French Rugby Federation (FFR) announced that adidas would be its new partner for a period of six years (from 1 July 2012 to 30 June 2018).

France’s No.1 sports brand once again becomes the official kit supplier to the French national team and today is proud to present a new jersey which firmly embraces the values it holds dear, giving a new boost to French rugby.

From professionals to amateurs, all rugby fans and followers of French sport will see themselves reflected in this modern and powerful blue jersey…

For enduring passion, the tricolour bands emblematic of French sport are emblazoned across the top of the jersey.

The cockerel, a symbol of the country and the team, is dressed in gold. Resplendent in his golden costume, he embodies courage, confidence, audacity and French flair.

The red of the flag is a reminder of the players’ warrior spirit and appears above the tricolour bands in the inside collar, where the values that drive them on through every match are engraved: passion, commitment, respect and innovation.
