El Salvador Mitre 2012/13 Home Kit

The Federación Salvadoreña de Fútbol, FESFUT, has officially launched the El Salvador Mitre 2012/13 home jersey (now available at World Soccer Shop). Los Cuscatlecos’ new home kit has already seen match action in recent friendlies against Moldova, New Zealand and Honduras. It is a modified version of the El Salvador home shirt launched last August with the country’s coat of arms now removed from its front area.

Ranked 55th in the world by FIFA, El Salvador will meet Costa Rica, Guyana and the Mexico in Round Three of the North, Central America and the Caribbean Zone 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification starting in this weekend. The team qualified for the 1970 and 1982 editions of the tournament.
