Lionel Messi’s 2012 Copa del Rey Final adidas adizero F50 Soccer Boots

FC Barcelona will meet Athletic Bilbao on Friday, May 25th 2012 in the Final of the 2011/12 Copa del Rey tournament at the Vicente Calderón in Madrid. During the match, FC Barcelona and Argentina superstar Lionel Messi will wear a special edition, customized pair of adidas adiZero F50 soccer boots.

Messi’s boots are in the F50’s latest colorway of White / Lime / Onix and feature the player’s name, number, recently launched logo and the new Copa del Rey logo. As is the case with all of Messi’s boots, the Argentine national flag appears on its heel area.

The Copa del Rey Final will be Barca’s last opportunity to take home silverware during the 11/12 season after placing second in the Spanish La Liga and falling to eventual champions Chelsea FC in the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League. It will also be the last in which manager Pep Guardiola will be in charge before leaving his post.
